Charles Knuffke has been a lighting/lighting controls specialist for many years, and follows changes to California's Title 24 Energy Code closely.  In this evening event, he presents an informative and engaging lecture about the updates to the Non-Residential (Commercial/Industrial) lighting sections of the 2019 Title 24 Energy Code, which became effective Jan. 1, 2020. In addition to the mandatory lighting requirements, Charles will cover key areas of interest for most lighting professionals, including new power density allowances and the revised interior alteration requirements.

For  over 25 years, Charles Knuffke has worked with engineers, contractors, distributors and owners to design, specify, and start up Lighting Control Systems for almost every kind of Commercial and Industrial project. Charle's current role is Systems Vice President and Evangelist for the Wattstopper product line overseeing all product activity relating to the company’s Digital Lighting Management System. Charles has also attended uncounted California Energy Commission meetings during the development of the various California Title 24 energy codes to provide real world commentary to the policy makers and act as an ombudsman for his customers.
